First of all - I don't care about the AI, at all. I am very much anti-AI and I bought these to replace my Meta Oakleys. I don't always need cameras on my face and public perception of the Meta glasses seems to have gone very downhill. I am ONLY interested in the audio playback and recording capabilities with a long battery. I hope companies realize that if they position their marketing of no-camera smart glasses much less about AI and much more about privacy they will likely see much more sales from people like myself.
These have MUCH better battery life - only went down from 100% to 90% in an hour and a half. They weigh like almost nothing, and look great. You wouldn't even be able to tell these have smart functionalities at first glance.
The audio *is* pretty quiet compared to the Metas - but it's still very functional.
Unlike a lot of other manufacturers, their prescription lenses are extremely cheap, with the coupon code you get in the box I got Transition lenses for only $100(!).
Another important and very good thing about these is its reliability. The arms as much as I can tell are independent and not physically conmected to each other - I have broken at least four pairs of Meta glasses because the right arm snapped off, and I highly doubt this will be a problem here.
