From a Spoken Question to Useful Follow-Up

Dymesty 2.0 connects conversational AI with information already captured in the Dymesty app. The Intelligent Assistant supports voice input for general conversational use.

For meetings or spoken notes, Dymesty can record audio, transcribe it when online, let users edit transcript text and speaker labels, search historical recordings, regenerate summaries after edits, and open AI Q&A from a recording. Saved conversations can therefore be searched and questioned later instead of remaining isolated audio files.

Translation sessions use a similar workflow. Dymesty 2.0 supports automatic language detection, playback of captured source audio, translation summaries, historical translation search and AI Q&A for translated content. These features live in the app-based workflow; Dymesty does not project translated text into the lenses.

The Dymesty app can sync Google Calendar, Outlook and local device calendars. Schedule Assistant supports event management and reminders, while AI can query schedule information when online. Current confirmed capabilities do not support promising arbitrary third-party app automation.

Voice AI Hardware Built Around Listening

Dymesty Cook Edge and Jobs Circle each weigh 35 g and use a titanium frame and hinge, Bluetooth 5.3, a Qualcomm SoC, four microphones, dual open-ear speakers, ENC and aptX. The battery claim is 48 hours based on typical use, not 48 hours of continuous AI processing.

Four microphones provide the input path for calls, recording and voice interaction, while open-ear speakers deliver audio without sealing the ear canal. ENC is supported, but it should not be confused with active noise cancellation.

Open-ear audio is not completely private. In a very quiet space or at higher volume, people nearby may hear some sound, which matters if AI responses contain sensitive information.

Camera-Free and Display-Free: What That Changes

Dymesty’s AI Assistant, transcription, summaries, translation, AI Q&A and AI schedule queries require internet access; basic audio recording can work offline. The glasses are camera-free and display-free, so they cannot capture photos, analyze visual scenes or show answers in the lens. Audio-recording consent and workplace policies still apply.

This is a functional trade-off, not a universal advantage. Cameras are useful when visual context matters. Displays are useful when information needs to be read silently or kept in view. Dymesty fits users whose recurring tasks are primarily auditory: asking a question, capturing speech, reviewing a conversation, checking schedule information or listening to a response.

Camera-free also does not mean “no privacy concerns.” Dymesty cannot visually photograph people or spaces, but microphones and audio recording still require appropriate consent and compliance with workplace rules.

Can Dymesty answer questions about what I am looking at?

No. Dymesty has no camera, so the assistant cannot see the wearer’s surroundings, recognize objects or answer questions based on a visual scene.

Can AI answers appear inside the lenses?
